Why does it seem that every Friday this fall it’s either raining or a threat of rain at any moment. Well I made it through another football game without rain, so that makes me happy. The game I was at was a tug of war with no score when I left at half time. I made some nice photos though and this one is a running back getting tackled.
Last weeks football was cold…yuck, I hate cold weather! I ended up staying warm though thanks to those hand warmers, I carry several when it cold out and stash them in all different pockets. Nothing spectacular happened in the game while I was there but I did sort of like this shot. I like the two fallen players reaching out but just can’t make it…what do you think?
So for the last several weeks I have been shooting the University of Tennessee football games. I’m doing some work upstairs in the president’s skybox for the first half of the game and then I wonder around and make photos that don’t have a home yet. So I didn’t shoot football again last Friday, but I did have an interesting assignment over the weekend. I went out and photographed these re-enactors practicing a battle scene for an upcoming show. Looks good to me, but I know nothing about re-enacting…what do you think?
